Foxglove is a plant which was used since the 1700s as a treatment for dropsy, what we now call congestive heart failure. It is still an effective treatment today.
Hello, I am Dr. Neil Raff. I graduated from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine over 40 years ago with a world class medical education.By the 1990’s “medical care” was being invaded by HMO’s which resulted in our present day “health care system” - dominated by insurance companies (brief visits, lots of tests) and big pharma (drugs, drugs, and more drugs). This system was against my training, so we created an office of “advanced medical care,” open minded to all new and old ideas beneficial to our patients, whether from Eastern medicine, Western science, or Holistic and Functional medicine. In the last 20 years we have been testing for vitamin D levels, homocysteine, the presence of toxic metals, and using chelation and ozone and now Neural Therapy, Perineural Injection Therapy,Regenerative Therapies such as Prolotherapy, Prolozone, PRP, “stem cells” and others as part of our treatments.
